A custom typeface for the Life is Good Company.
Created an illustrated alphabet based on the original Life is Good hand-drawn logo and turned it into a multi-platform font complete with symbols, ligatures, and alternate glyphs. Hand kerned and tracked each letter.
The illustrated typeface was used in the first Life is Good book, on marketing collateral, and on retail products.
While creating the multi-platform font, I designed the first Life is Good book, a 125-page compilation of optimistic phrases and full-color illustrated graphics in a 7”x7” hardcover gift book. 213,000+ books have been sold and 10% of net profits from the sale of the book, help kids in need.
